Next week Mark plans to have a full run through of the complete programme.

In Mark’s absence tomorrow Simon will go through the Ave verum corpus to warm up, then sing the Laudate pueri (p33) and the Beatus vir (p19). Then from the Requiem: the 2nd Kyrie (p6) and the link to the Dies

Next week we will work through the Beatus vir, Laudate pueri and Laudate Dominum from the Vespers and then look in detail at some of the more challenging parts of the Requiem.

Next week Mark plans to start with the Requiem and work through as far as possible, then have half an hour going over pieces from the first half of the programme.

Next week Mark plans to focus on the Laudate pueri from the Vespers (p.33 in the booklet), which we didn’t get round to last night, and go back over the Beatus vir and the Laudate Dominum. He also asks that

At next week’s rehearsal Mark plans to look at the three items from the Mozart Vespers, i.e. the last three items in the first-half booklet.

This week we will revise ‘Deus qui nos in tantis periculis’ (p 22), finish off ‘Beati eritis’ (p 33) and look at the final piece, ‘O crux ave spes unica’ (p 28).  Please come prepared, having looked through these pieces

This week we will be revising the Alma redemptoris Mater (p 1) and looking at Deus qui nos in tantis periculis (p 22). We may also run the ‘Confitebur tibi’ (p 39). Please look at the online learning tracks Mark has prepared.
